At SMART Education we offer professional, independent, educational services for children aged 6 to 18 years.
Our services include:
- Assessments & consultations, including dyslexia screening
- Study skills sessions for students in second level for only €30
- Help with CAO applications and courses.
- Cognitive ability skills assessments.
- Tutorials and learning support in English and Maths.
- Specialist programs for children with ADD, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
- Handwriting programs including 'Handwritting Without Tears' program
- Home programs online, FAst ForWord and Successmaker.
Our service is confidential and we do not discuss results of assessments with any outside party unless permission has been granted by the parent(s). However if the parent wishes we will gladly talk to class teachers, resource teachers etc. on approaches and interventions that may help the child. We can offer recommendations and put teachers in touch with suppliers of new learning materials and resources.
Our classes
At SMART Education every child has their own computer and learning program.We believe that every child is an individual and should have learning tailored to meet their needs. Classes are fun and interactive so children learn faster. Classes are mixed so boys and girls of different ages may be together and children from the same family can attend at the same time. We operate an open door policy and parents are always welcome to discuss a student's progress.
